Cisco NX-OS Software NX-API Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

    CVE-2026-76471exploitrce

A vulnerability in the NX-API feature of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of data that is sent to the NX-API. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the NX-API of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a reload of the device and a DoS condition. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller API Command Injection Vulnerability

    CVE-2026-20321exploit

A vulnerability in the web-based management API for Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the root user. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-controlled command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating using the API and sending crafted input. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of an affected device with root-level privileges. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Unauthorized File Access Vulnerability

    CVE-2026-76488exploit

A vulnerability in the export policies functionality of Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to access sensitive files on an affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. This vulnerability is due to insufficient access control to file system resources. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted values in specific UI fields. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive files from the underlying file system of an affected device, including key materials that could be used to elevate privileges to root on the affected APIC and on managed switches. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. Cisco Nexus 3000 and 9000 Series Switches MPLS OAM Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

    CVE-2026-76465exploitrce

A vulnerability in the MPLS Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) feature of Cisco NX-OS Software for Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper validation when an affected device is processing an MPLS echo-request packet. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted MPLS echo-request to an IP address on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a device reload and a DoS condition. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. Cisco Finesse Server-Side Request Forgery Vulnerability

    CVE-2026-20362exploitssrf

A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Finesse could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks through an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper input validation for specific HTTP requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain limited sensitive information for services that are associated with the affected device. Cisco plans to release software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. Cisco NX-OS Software Python Sandbox Escape Vulnerability

    exploit

A vulnerability in the Python interpreter of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with low privileges to escape the Python sandbox and gain unauthorized access to the underlying operating system of an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by manipulating specific functions within the Python interpreter. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to escape the Python sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with the privileges of the authenticated user. Note: An attacker must be authenticated with Python execution privileges to exploit this vulnerability. For more information regarding Python execution privileges, see product-specific documentation, such as the Cisco NX-OS Security with Python section of the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series NX-OS Programmability Guide. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. VU#699627: Readwise Reader for Android, version 8.7.2, contains multiple XSS vulnerabilities

    CVE-2026-18311CVE-2026-18312exploitxss

Overview Three cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities identified in Readwise Reader for Android version 8.7.2 are disclosed. An attacker with the ability to craft malicious documents or metadata can exploit these vulnerabilities by supplying poisoned content that bypasses sanitization. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript within the application's WebView context and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of user data, including access to stored documents, credentials, and session tokens. Description Readwise Reader from Readwise is designed to provide a unified read-it-later service that helps individuals collect and organize articles, newsletters, videos, and other content of interest into a single reading interface. It is available on multiple platforms including Android and can synchronize content across devices. CVE-2026-18311: A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the header rendering component in Readwise Reader for Android version 8.7.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript via crafted document metadata fields. The header rendering component is impacted due to insufficient HTML escaping of metadata fields such as 'doc.author' and 'doc.title', which allows malicious scripts to be stored in the user's library and synchronized to Android devices where they are executed in the WebView context. CVE-2026-18312: A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the WebView URL constructi

FBI Probes Service Selling 153M+ Drivers Licenses

    a-little-sunshinedata-breachesexploitthe-coming-storm

A new identity theft service launched on the dark web this week is selling digital scans of more than 153 million drivers licenses from people in the United States and Canada. Based on interviews with individuals whose licenses are available for purchase on this service, it appears to be siphoning images collected by a widely-used identity verification company based in Louisiana. KrebsOnSecurity also has learned that the New Orleans field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) today launched an official inquiry into the source of the images. A record available at this identity theft service that includes the drivers license for U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, one of several high-ranking U.S. government officials whose drivers licenses can be found for sale. On Monday, Aug. 31, a source alerted KrebsOnSecurity to a service advertised by a new user on the Russian cybercrime forum Exploit, offering access to digital scans of identity documents on more than 170 million people in North America. The source brought it to my attention because the proprietor of this identity theft service offered my Virginia drivers license as a free sample in their initial sales thread on Exploit. The service, dubbed Nexus, claims to have more than 153 million drivers licenses for people in the United States and Canada, as well as more than 10 million identification cards; more than three million travel documents and/or international IDs; and at least 579,000 medical cards.
